Fungus is a natural companion from the San Francisco area for lawns, including perennial ryegrass, Bermuda grass and fescue. Many types of fungus improve a lawn and assist in the breakdown of soil nutrients. Not all fungal growths are beneficial and will be the source of many types of plant diseases.
